Live Ready

Expectant People, Expectant Mission

ex·pect’ant (adj.)
[Characterized by anticipation] – expecting, hoping, hopeful, waiting, watchful, vigilant, eager, ready, prepared, in suspense.

Philippians 1:20–21 (NKJV)
“According to my earnest expectation and hope that in nothing I shall be ashamed... Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”

Our Mandate

Our Mandate

Mandate (noun): An authoritative command or commission.

Mandate for Expectancy:
Cultivating servant-hearted leaders for Kingdom expansion and Christ’s glory.

We believe in birthing ministries—not building empires. Father God is building His church. Our call as servant leaders is to love, serve, disciple, train, and release people into their God-given callings.

Why We Focus on Everyone’s Ministry

Why We Focus on Everyone’s Ministry

God is not building a church of spectators, but a body of ministers. Our goal is Kingdom expansion by stewarding God’s people into maturity in love and the image of Christ.

We do not own people or form them into our image.
We release them into God’s plan for their lives.

2 Corinthians 5:15–21 (NASB)
“He died for all, so that they who live might no longer live for themselves... Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature...”

Why We Focus on Everyone’s Gifts

Why We Focus on Everyone’s Gifts

Jesus gave gifts to His Church with a purpose:
To build the Body and advance His Kingdom.

Ephesians 4:1–16 (NASB)
“And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers...”
“...until we all attain to the unity of the faith... to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.”

Home Grown & Certified Organic

Psalm 127:1–3 (NASB)
“Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it...”

Expectancy is God’s work. Just like a healthy ecosystem, every person and ministry affects the whole. When each part thrives, the body grows in harmony and strength.

Leadership doesn’t change the ecosystem—it stewards it.

Order vs. Control

Order protects and makes space for growth. Control restricts, stagnates, and suppresses.

Growth can be messy, but God isn’t intimidated by messy. We don’t judge by the flesh—not ourselves, not others.

“Know no man after the flesh.”

Relationship & Servanthood

Relationship
God loves relationship, and so do we.
We are not just born into a Kingdom—we’re born into a family.

Proverbs 18:1 (NKJV)
“A man who isolates himself seeks his own desire...”

Hebrews 10:24–25 (AMP)
“Let us consider and give attentive, continuous care to watching over one another... not neglecting to meet together...”

Servanthood

Servanthood

Mark 10:45 (NASB)
“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve...”

Jesus is our model—we want to be like Him.
